When I'm not working on my own art, I run creative workshops for people of all ages, including primary, secondary and SEN schools, prisons and charitable organisations. I offer a variety of workshops, including but not limited to: creating comics, character design, drawing techniques, textures and marks, paper dolls and more!
Alongside this, I offer talks at universities and colleges, about my creative process and breaking into the industry as a graduate illustrator. I regularly facilitate workwhops with Lancaster based Escape2Make, a charity dedicated to offering free workshops to young people aged 11-18. As well as running their Press Club fortnightly, in which we respond creatively to different topics resulting in a printed zine at the end of each term, I also deliver one-off workshops with E2M, including the facilitation of creating a permanent mural in the E2M Headquarters. The workshop was designed to allow the young people to express themselves creatively, whilst keeping continuity in the design. If you would like to book me for delivering a workshop, or if you would like me to come and talk at your university, please feel free to contact me via the contact page. Clients include: The International Lakes Comic Art Festival, Leeds City Council, The British Library, HMP Haverigg, Sheffield Hallam University, Escape2Make, Kendal College, The University of Edinburgh, Queen Elizabeth School, Old Hutton Primary School, Vickerstown Primary School, Cambridge Primary School Barrow, George Hastwell School, Sandgate School, Creative West End, Indigo Arts and Crafts, Room4Comics, Crookhey Hall School and more... |
