Cancer Research UK - Mental Health Awareness Week
I recently worked in collaboration with Cancer Research UK to put together some illustrations for Mental Health Awareness Week, thinking about how people with cancer in their lives can look after their mental health during the coronavirus lockdown. To emphasise the theme of staying at home, each character is in someway visually connected to their surroundings (for example, in the first illustration, the headscarf and the curtain use the same fabric). The illustrations are drawn in coloured pencil, digitally edited to incorporate the Cancer Research colours; pink, blue and purple.
Talk About Your Worries, coloured pencil on cartridge paper, colours digitally altered to use CR colours.
Keeping Your Mind Active, coloured pencil on cartridge paper, colours digitally altered to use CR colours.
Illustrations using a slightly different colour scheme.
